How do we apply costs? How is it free shipping and donations?
In retail, all retail, the markup for profit is 400% – 1200% and sometimes higher. That means if something costs $100.00 to manufacture, the retail price will be set between $400 and $1200, respectively, similar to a smartphone or tablet, which are all made in China.
The retailer then adds a shipping cost, between 6% – 8% to the price, as in the case of groceries, and then applies your local shipping costs and charges the customer that price. The retailer then applies tax, and then send the product to the customer.
Our process is similar, but instead of adding on any cost to the customer, we add all extra shipping and processing costs in our 400% – 1200% profit margin. That means the customer is not charged extra for that expense, and we absorb that in the base cost increase.
The usual way to shop is to look for the lowest price with the least extra expenses. This is not actually what is happening in the real world. in the real world, places like e-commerce retailers and online software companies charge that premium price, at the levels we mentioned, they just pressure the manufacturer to reduce that cost, or go to China, India, and the Far Eastern Countries for goods.
Our warehouses are here in this country, the shipping is local, to the lower 48 states, and the timelines are 3 to 6 days. Your receipt will say that. Our goods originate offshore, from China, India, Europe, and Eurasia. The goods are the same quality as your Apple, Amazon, or Walmart. No subscriptions, and no fees, use your credit cards or pay over time, its all there through WooCommerce.
At the bottom, you can vet us and reach out; we are always around.
To be completely transparent, what you have been told about retail is nothing more than a means to make a huge sum of money and never have to pay the expenses incurred for doing business. It’s called SOPM: Spending Other People’s Money. We are ending that.
To help with this process, you will receive an invoice of all related costs. Just like your checkout cart in any retail payment process, only with our process, you are seeing the associated costs, but deducted from our profit, not added to your costs.
On that receipt/invoice will be the name of the Charity (right now all donations go to the National Women’s Shelter, or the Veterans Association) where one of any item you purchase will go. This item is shipped at the same time yours is shipped in that same order.
The donation is a mirror of your order; the costs and expenses are listed on your receipt/invoice.
The customer will have the option of having their name on the shipping order in a Care Of (C/O) state.
