Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Autotum’s SaaS platform by rental businesses and authorized users. Effective August 19, 2026.
1. Using Autotum
Autotum grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription term, subject to these Terms and the applicable order or plan.
2. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, safeguarding login credentials, managing authorized users, and promptly notifying Autotum of any suspected unauthorized access.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed according to the plan and billing cycle you select. You authorize Autotum or its billing provider to charge applicable subscription fees, taxes, and renewals unless you cancel in accordance with your plan terms.
Subscription cancellations, refunds, trial terms, and renewal rules are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy and any applicable law.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use Autotum to violate law, infringe rights, interfere with the service, transmit harmful code, conduct fraudulent activity, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to data, accounts, or systems.
5. Rental-Company Responsibilities
You are responsible for your rental operations, customer communications, vehicle availability, pricing, rental agreements, legal notices, insurance, refunds, and compliance with laws applicable to your business.
Autotum provides software and related tools for managing rental operations and is not itself a vehicle rental company, insurer, payment provider, or legal adviser.
6. Third-Party Services
Autotum may integrate with third-party services such as Paddle for subscription billing, Stripe for rental payment processing, SignWell for electronic signatures, communications providers, hosting providers, and other services needed to operate the platform.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to their separate terms and privacy policies. Autotum is not responsible for outages, changes, acts, or omissions of third-party services that are outside Autotum’s reasonable control.
7. Intellectual Property
Autotum and its licensors retain all rights in the service, software, documentation, trademarks, and related materials. You retain rights in the data you submit to Autotum and grant Autotum the limited rights necessary to host, process, transmit, and otherwise use that data solely to provide, secure, and operate the service.
8. Service Availability
We work to keep Autotum available and reliable, but the service may be modified, interrupted, or unavailable from time to time for maintenance, updates, security, or events beyond our reasonable control.
9. Termination
You may cancel your Autotum subscription or stop using the service in accordance with your plan terms and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Autotum may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity, create a security risk, or misuse the service.
Where reasonably practicable, Autotum may provide notice and an opportunity to correct a breach before termination, except where immediate action is necessary for security, legal, or operational reasons.
10. Disclaimers
Autotum is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every business need.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Autotum will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to use of the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Autotum’s total liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the fees paid or payable by you to Autotum during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
12. Governing Terms
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Autotum service will be handled in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
13. Changes to These Terms
Autotum may update these Terms by posting a revised version or providing notice through the service. Continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
